Terms & Conditions

These terms govern your use of ProofVault, a service run by Tap One Marketing. By creating an account or signing a document you agree to them.

Last updated 15 August 2026

1. Who we are

ProofVault is operated by Tap One Marketing, based in the United Kingdom. ICO data protection registration: ZB744042. Contact: Taponemarketinguk@gmail.com.

2. Your account

You must provide accurate details, keep your login credentials secure and are responsible for activity carried out under your account. You must be at least 18 years old, or use the service on behalf of an organisation you are authorised to represent.

3. Plans, billing and cancellation

The Free plan is available at no cost with usage limits. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring monthly basis at the price shown at checkout and renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and will retain access until the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments already made are non-refundable.

We may change plan pricing or limits with reasonable notice; changes take effect from your next billing period.

4. Electronic signatures

ProofVault provides tooling to request, capture and evidence electronic signatures, including timestamps, document hashing and audit trails. You are responsible for deciding whether an electronic signature is appropriate and legally sufficient for your document and jurisdiction, for identifying your signers correctly, and for the content of anything you send. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use ProofVault to:

  • upload or send unlawful, fraudulent, infringing or malicious content;
  • forge signatures, impersonate another person or misrepresent a document;
  • send unsolicited bulk email or use signing invitations for marketing;
  • attempt to bypass plan limits, access other users' data or disrupt the service.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, and remove content we are legally required to remove.

6. Your content

You keep all rights in the documents and files you upload. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, transmit and display them solely to operate the service for you and the recipients you choose. How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy.

7. Availability

We work to keep the service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates or issues with third-party infrastructure may cause downtime. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of important documents.

8. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost business or loss of data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including for death, personal injury or fraud.

9. Termination

You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or end access for breach of these terms or non-payment. On termination your stored files may be deleted, so export anything you need first.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms as the service develops; continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
